Phrase
around-the-clocker
Meaning: a bowler who, by preference or deficiency of technique, bowls on the same hand, end after end, day after day, week after week, year after year, until death with his bowls doth part
Themes: honesty
Contributor: Anon
Usage
Player A: What's that dickhead doing? There's a shitload of room on the forehand/backhand.
Player B: That's Player C for ya, a real around-the-clocker. I seen him play backhand/forehand once for a bet. Shithouse bowl but he won the bet. He'll never do much good but he's happy being an around-the-clocker.
