We must all remember that the most important thing to consider is the total across all rinks. In doing so we aspire to beat these fuckers. Themes: optimism, mateship, teamwork Contributor: Cliff

Thus a bloody corker is superior to a pearler but not as good as a bomb!, whereas a fucking corker is better than both a bomb! and a pearler. Meaning: Magoo is an opposition player who delivered an earlier short bowl to an awkward position. One of our bowls is on track for a good result but will probably run into Magoo's bowl. Players frequently refer to a physical bowl, an inanimate object, as though it is the person who delivered it. Statements such as "get going Shitface" and "in there Shitface" (Shitface being the moniker of a team mate) while being nonsensical to the non-bowler are readily understood by devotees of the game as endearing entreaties offered as encouragement for a successful outcome of Shitface's most recent bowl. We identify with nothing in our lives but the fish. The fish are the thoughts in our brain, going in circles, and running all around us. If we step back and observe this, we become the water. If we understand there is such a thing as having fish, having water, and observing that with no reaction - we become the bowl. We are the bowl, we have always been the bowl, but we think we are the content of that bowl. be the bowl. Second: Gotcha. Another draw on the backhand then.
